My 2024 Christmas baking classes
(taking place in November and December)
will be announced in September 2024.
Following the huge success of the classes in 2022 and 2023, I will be offering both regular and GLUTEN-FREE classes again!
Please, check again closer to the time. You can also contact me to be included on a priority waiting list, and I will notify you a few days before the classes will be announced publicly. The number of classes (and places) will be limited.
In the class, you will bake some of my family’s most loved items on the Christmas table, including:
- our award-winning Christmas Stollen
(optional with home-made marzipan)
- ‘Apfelbrot’
(Christmas cake with apples, nuts & spices)
and/or
- a selection of German Christmas cookies, including
‘Spitzbuben’ (jam-filled double-layer cookies)
‘Lebkuchen’, made with honey, spices, hazelnuts
and almonds and citrus peel
‘Vanillekipferl’ (crescent-shaped, deliciously
crumbly cookies lightly sprinkled with
vanilla-sugar)’
‘Coconut (or almond) macarons’ (soft-centred
mounts made with desiccated coconut (or almond
meal) and egg white)
